Support a real indie developer and get a very good game. Don't take this as negative, it's just that CW1 was one of the best games to come out in years, so it is almost impossible to reach that same magic formula. That said CW3 is still far better and more strategic than almost anything else, its just not as good as CW1. CW3 is CW1 faster bigger better stronger, no doubt about that and maybe if I had more time on my hand I could appreciate the strategic parts more. I can totally see CW3 IS in the spirit of CW1, it just got a bit too much for me, and the simplistic yet very strategic gameplay got a bit lost in the upscaling.

As with other aspects of the game, the DMD has been greatly enhanced and creates fun and exciting maps to customize and play - there are almost as many DMD maps uploaded for players to play as there are user-maps. In all the versions, there is also a random map generator - the Dial Map Device (DMD) in Creeper World 3. For CW3, there is already nearly 300 user-contributed maps. For the earliest CW1, there is now over 6,000 user maps. There is a moderately interesting story line contained in the main story missions, but the primary attraction is in user-contributed content (maps) that add many, many hours of play to the game. Creeper World 3 knocks this franchise out of the ballpark. Creeper World 3 knocks this Over the course of 3 generations of Creeper World, the gameplay and graphics have improved tremendously.
